The current standard width of a wall oven is 30". Kitchens built 10 - 20 years ago are more likely to have a narrower cutout for a 27" wall oven. Go back 30 + years, and you'll most often find that 24" wall ovens were the norm. Oven heights broadly fit into 3 categories, though standards are less universal here. A single wall oven will usually fit inside a cutout about 28.5" tall. Double wall ovens will broadly split into two main heights: Those with a compact oven or microwave on the top and a full-size on the bottom, fitting in a 42.25" cutout in your cabinet; and those with two full-size ovens, fitting into a 52" hole. Some specialty wall ovens, such as advantium microwaves, or steam ovens, will go into an even smaller cutout around 17.5" in height.
